Until recently filters for residential HVAC filters were restricted to fiberglass cardboard framed filters designed to remove large debris from the air delivery system.  Today as more and more people become aware of the indoor air they breath and it's affect on their lives and their health they have chosen to upgrade either their HVAC systems and/or filters.  

Pleated Air Filters   Pleated filters are fast becoming the filter of choice in most residential HVAC systems.  They offer significantly higher efficiency and dust removal as well as longer life between changes.  The home pleated filter is available in MERV 7, MERV 8 or MERV 11efficiencies.

Residential Air Cleaner  Filters  Crawford Filtration Inc. offers a complete line of replacement filters for residential air cleaners for Trion Air Bear® and Air Cub®, Honeywell® F-series,  Aprilaire® and Space-Gard®.  Residential Air Cleaner filters are available in both MERV 8 and MERV 11 efficiencies.

Fiberglass Disposable  Fiberglass Disposable filters are still in use in some older residential HVAC systems.  Although they do not offer a high degree of dust removal they do offer low resistance to assure proper air flow in low volume systems.  Fiberglass Disposables offer the most standard sizes and can also be made to order in any size up to 72" long.

Washable & Kitchen  Crawford Filtration Inc. offers a complete line of standard and special sized aluminum and stainless steel filters for use in both kitchen exhaust or HVAC systems.  These filters are available in 1/2", 1" or 2" thickness to fit any home system.
